Lavender Island is not far from here,
It’s a refuge place when things are not so clear,
It belongs to a man who chose to escape,
To a place in his mind that no one could take ....
Away…he goes to follow his dreams,
So he says good bye and he tries not to cry,
And he’s going away to find a better land,
‘Cause he’s sick and tired of what’s all around…
The shadows on the island are orange and gold,
Embrace you with a fabric that never grows old,
It belongs to a man who chose to explain,
Why he longs for his island, like the earth needs the rain…
Lavender Island is purple and green,
Covered with a blanked of flowers and trees,
If you go there someday you might understand,
Why the man is not tired, why the man is not afraid…
